Alternative to SuiteDash
The SuiteDash alternative for digital marketing agencies
For marketing agencies that outgrew the everything-app — an opinionated agency shape with the tracking layer no all-in-one models.
What you're probably tired of
- An all-in-one that does everything adequately and nothing deeply — portal, CRM, invoicing, projects, all a mile wide
- Configuration sprawl: white-label options, permission matrices, and module toggles standing in for an opinionated agency shape
- No concept of marketing work — campaigns, tracking setups, and department cadences don't exist as objects
- A portal your clients log into that can't tell them whether their conversion tracking actually works
What changes on Phloz
- A typed tracking-infrastructure map per client with automated audits and a 0–100 health score — the marketing layer no all-in-one models
- Marketing-shaped delivery: PPC/SEO/social/CRO plans, campaign blueprints importable from Google Ads, recurring cadences
- A passwordless client portal focused on the work: tasks, approvals, shared plans, tracking-health reports with sign-off
- Live read-only Google integration — per-client GA4 and Ads insights instead of a generic dashboard module
Should you actually switch?
A switch is real cost — a few days of structural mapping, a parallel-running week, training time, and the friction of breaking habits your team has built. Worth it when the new tool meaningfully changes how you work; not worth it when the gain is incremental.
The five signals that you're ready to leave SuiteDash: (1) you're paying for seats or contacts you don't use, (2) you're running the tracking stack in a separate Sheet because the CRM has nowhere for it, (3) onboarding a new team member takes more than a day because the configuration is tribal knowledge, (4) clients ask "where do I see progress?" and you don't have a clean answer, (5) you're duplicating client data across two or three tools because no single tool fits.
If three of those five describe your agency, the structural upgrade pays back inside a quarter. If only one or two, stay where you are and revisit at the next pricing renewal — switching for marginal gain is usually a worse decision than the marginal gain.
When SuiteDash is still the right choice
The honest counter-positioning. SuiteDashisn't wrong for everyone — these are the cases where staying makes more sense than switching. If any of them describe you, weigh the trade carefully before migrating.
- You want the client to live in ONE branded environment for everything including paying invoices — SuiteDash's billing + portal combination is its whole pitch, and Phloz does not bill your clients.
- Flat-rate pricing with unlimited staff and clients is the deciding factor at your scale.
- Proposals, contracts, and e-sign inside the ops tool matter more than marketing-shaped delivery.
- You are not a marketing agency — SuiteDash serves generic service businesses; Phloz is marketing-agency-only by design.
Migration: what to plan for
Like ManyRequests, plan the billing split first: SuiteDash invoices your clients; Phloz deliberately does not — payment collection moves to your accounting stack while Phloz tracks retainers and burn. Contacts and clients import via CSV; proposals/contracts stay in your document tool of choice. Clients re-onboard with a magic link — simpler than portal logins, and on higher tiers the portal carries your branding (name, logo, accent, custom domain).
The structural rethink — mapping SuiteDash's shape to Phloz's opinionated agency model — takes longer than the data move. Read the marketing agency CRM buyer's guide for the six capabilities that should drive the decision, and the pricing page to run the per-active-client math at your client count.
SuiteDash migration FAQ
The three questions agency owners ask before signing the switch decision. Honest answers — same data we'd give a friend evaluating the move.
- Is Phloz a SuiteDash replacement?
- For digital marketing agencies, largely yes on the client-management, portal, and project side — and it adds the tracking-infrastructure map and live Google insights no all-in-one ships. What does not carry over: invoicing your clients, proposals/contracts, and e-sign, which move to dedicated tools. Generic service businesses (non-marketing) should stay on an all-in-one.
- Do we lose the white-label client portal?
- No — Phloz's portal is passwordless (magic links, no client passwords to manage), carries your name, logo, and accent color on higher tiers, supports a custom domain, and can drop the "Powered by Phloz" credit on Business+. What changes is focus: the portal is built around delivery and tracking health rather than billing.
- Where does client billing go?
- To your accounting stack. Phloz deliberately does not invoice or collect payments from your clients — it tracks retainer value, renewal dates, and burn hours. Most agencies pair it with QuickBooks/Xero or direct Stripe invoicing, keeping money tools and ops tools cleanly separated.
What you keep when you migrate
The honest list of what survives the move from SuiteDash. Your client list and contact records (CSV import). Your active tasks and their assignees, statuses, due dates (CSV import). Your custom fields, on clients and tasks (mapped to Phloz custom fields during import). Your inbound email addresses if you set up forwarding (re-pointed at the per-client Phloz inbound addresses).
What doesn't survive: historical activity logs older than what you'd realistically reference (most agencies discover they don't open activity from before the last quarter). Bespoke automation rules built on SuiteDash's specific automation engine — these need to be re-expressed in Phloz's patterns (recurring tasks, status hooks, inbound thread routing) or offloaded to Inngest / Zapier. Time entries stay in your time-tracking tool of record (Phloz integrates rather than re-imports).
The trade is a lighter, more opinionated tool that runs your agency's shape natively — at the cost of some per-tool customisation that, in retrospect, was usually a workaround for a missing primitive. See agency project management software for the broader buyer's guide on what to evaluate alongside this switch decision.

The Phloz vs SuiteDash comparison covers what each tool does, what each doesn't, and when SuiteDashis the right choice — for the cases where you're evaluating rather than already unhappy.
