Google Ads alerts: clicks kept coming, conversions didn’t

Clicks kept coming and conversions stopped. Phloz checks every client's Google Ads account each morning against its own last 4 weeks; this walkthrough follows one alert on a sample client: what it says, where the tracking broke, how it becomes a task, the weekly audit beside it, and the email the team gets that morning.

What you’re watching

  • The overview’s Google Ads alerts. Tarnbrook Physio (critical): no conversions from 209 clicks, where about 16 were expected at the account’s 4-week rate of 7.7%. Saffrel Skincare: spend up 92% this week. Larkmoor Home Care: cost per conversion up 67%, with clicks costing 62% more.
  • The client’s Google Ads panel: about a usual week of spend and clicks, and 0 conversions, 100% below a usual week. The alert says what to check first.
  • The client’s tracking map, where the booking events node is marked Missing.
  • Create task: one click files a High-priority task on the client with the alert’s numbers and what to check.
  • Ads health, the weekly audit: every account ranked worst-first, with the wasted spend of the last 30 days.
  • The morning email to the people on the account: “3 Google Ads alerts (1 critical)”.

Phloz only reads Google Ads. It can't pause, bid on or change anything there: your team makes the fix, in Google Ads or on the site. Google Ads alerts and Ads health are on Growth and above.

The words on screen

The video has music and no voiceover; everything it says is on screen. Here it is in order.

  1. Last week: 209 clicks. 0 bookings. — and nobody on the account noticed.
  2. Every morning, Phloz checks each client’s Google Ads… against its own last 4 weeks.
  3. Clicks normal. Conversions zero.
  4. Each alert says what to check. Phloz only reads your ads.
  5. On the client’s map, the booking events show Missing.
  6. One click turns the alert into a task. High priority, with the numbers and what to check.
  7. Plus a weekly audit: wasted spend, broken tracking, starved campaigns. Every account, ranked worst-first.
  8. New or worse alerts are emailed that morning to the people on the account.
  9. Hear it from Phloz, not your client.

The agency, its clients, contacts and figures are a demo workspace with made-up names; the screens are the app as it ships. It’s also on Phloz’s YouTube channel.
